This explains what we collect when you buy from scenttheory.in, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Order details — name, delivery address, phone number, email, and what you ordered.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
- Usage data — pages visited and how you reached us, through Shopify’s own analytics and the Meta pixel.
- Anything you send us — messages, photos and unboxing videos shared for a damage claim.
What we use it for
- Processing, packing and delivering your order
- Sending order and tracking updates by email and WhatsApp
- Handling replacement requests
- Understanding which products and ads work, so we make better ones
- Marketing messages — only if you have opted in, and you can stop them any time
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to get your order to you: Shopify (our store platform), Razorpay (payments), Bluedart and Delhivery (delivery), and Meta (advertising measurement). We don’t sell your data to anyone, and we never will.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as Indian tax and GST law requires. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Write to help.scenttheory@gmail.com and you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — other than records we are legally required to keep.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and measure our advertising. You can block them in your browser, though the cart may stop working properly if you do.
